KITCHEN BANG BANG LAW

CDR copies of two episodes from This Show is History, the thematic series Vince put together back in that first year of CKUT’s broadcasting life. The first show, Economics (29 Mar 88), features musical selections by Big Black, Swans, Karen Finley, Three O’Clock Train, Midnight Oil and others. The second show, Mental Health (5 Apr 88), features tracks by The Rollins Band, Choeur RTB, Throwing Muses, Butthole Surfers, No Means No, Cowboy Junkies, Blue Cheer and others. Both CDRs include all vintage ads and announcements, and erudite commentary by Vince.

Special selection of vinyl LPs from this year’s crate-digging (all in sweet shape). Impossibly rare Canadian indie vinyl by The Dub Rifles, Three O’Clock Train and Courage of Lassie, Aphrodite’s Child still in the shrinkwrap, Tangerine Dream, Roxy Music, Joni Mitchell … something for everyone! (None of the vinyl records are current reissues, they’re all from back in the day.) And for the first time ever Vince is offering a clutch of vintage cassettes, and a couple of really sweet CD box sets (by Tom Waits and John Oswald) just for you! See entire list here.
